Mold Remediation – Negative Air Envelope
John Wayne Construction takes the utmost care to make sure that mold and other air born pollutants do not spread when remediation efforts begin. Negative Air Envelopes are employed to ensure that all mold is contained before any demolition and remediation commences. This envelope ensures that surrounding areas are not affected by curing the damaged areas.

Sheppard Air Force Base – Wichita Falls, TX
The walls of all the guest rooms in the Temporary Living Facilities at Sheppard Air Force Base were deteriorating rapidly and beginning to show signs of mold damage when the government contracted JWC to repair this facility. JWC completely renovated the interior walls of this facility with mold treatments, wall coatings, and repainting. Within a week of arriving at this Air Force Base JWC contained and remediated the mold before rebuilding and repairing all the walls.

Key West Naval Air Station – Lodging Facility
This Military Base in the Florida Keys was pounded by a Category 4 hurricane causing massive damage through wind, rain, and storm surge. The Florida Keys are especially susceptible to storm surge since they are at sea level.

This lodging facility suffered significant mold damage as the government was very slow to remediate this mold damage. JWC contained and eliminated all of the mold within 72 hours of the contract being signed. Within 12 weeks this entire lodging facility was back up and running.
